Whisper ASR is a speech recognition model that can convert speech input to text. TTS (Text-to-Speech) is a technology that can convert text to speech. GPT 3.5 turbo is a language model that can generate human-like text. By using these models together, it is possible to create an AI voice assistant that can understand spoken input, generate a response in natural language, and then convert that response to speech. Here's how the process would work: The user speaks into a microphone, and the speech is captured as an audio file. It leverages AI to help job seekers update an existing resume or create one from scratch. Job seekers will be able to upload an existing resume, or input details, and the AI will refine it, checking for grammatical errors and coherence. It will also change the tone based on user input(ie. make it more professional) and embed relevant keywords. For employers the AI will make more effective and inclusive job descriptions. It can take an existing job description and refine it, fixing grammatical errors and using more inclusive language. Through the power of ChatGPT we create personalized and sophisticated travel plans for everyone. We act as facilitator between the travel and ChatGPT, interviewing the traveler to learn their travel wishes and constraints. We then feed this information into ChatGPT to create detailed travel itineraries that include activities, hotels, travel options, etc. We then layer additional information (maps, hotel links, flight information )into these travel itineraries. Finally the user can interact with the system to update the plan to meet their needs. The detailed itinerary can then act as the primary source of all information for the trip.

Keimo is a personalized AI tutor for children. Our vision is to create a safe space for asking questions that nurtures children’s curiosity. We designed our platform using figma, while working closely with our artistic director. Our app was built using bleeding edge tools; React through NextJS 13 for a snappy UI, flask for the back-end and creating our pipeline to connect all of Keimo's senses and bring him to life. We used whisper to give Keimo their ears, ChatGPT's very recently released API for their brain and Google Cloud Voice for the mouth. Keimo's body was made alive by our extremely talented animator, Vi who did all the animations and artwork. We implemented her animations through the usage of LottieFiles to efficiently display them.

As industries and large-scale organizations fit their processes inside small laptop screens, the education sector had a tough time as well, especially trying to figure out the best possible ways to conduct online learning. Availability of physical resources, lack of technical training and expertise among faculty, and unpreparedness are just some of the reasons why online learning still is a huge challenge. We try to make things simpler by bringing in LectureMind. LectureMind takes care of a lot of things. All one has to do is upload an audio recording of a lecture into the platform and it: - Transcribes it and creates a summary - Generates a 10 point Quiz for every lecture - Generates 10 flash-cards for every lecture The idea is to simplify the process of online learning, make it fun for the students, have them play around with things a little and explore more and deep dive into things, because that's the best way to learn.

In this project, we take input in 3 different formats: youtube video link, pdf link, and pdf uploaded by the user. From the youtube video link, we first download the video and then extract its audio. The audio is then transcribed using WhiperAPI. Finally, we save the transcribed text from the audio and it is summarized using GPT-3. As for the pdf link and pdf uploaded from the local device, the text is extracted from the pdf and again with the use of GPT-3, we summarize the pdf. The summary LearnIt provides gives an overview of what those lengthy tiring videos and research papers were about. This gives the user an idea of what they can expect from the video and paper. Also based on the summary, they can save time to understand the video and papers quickly and sort them based on their interest.

A discord bot that records voice data from a voice channel and translates the voice data into a script that is translated into the desired language. we used discord.py for building the discord bot itself. this proved difficult since there were not much manual support for many of the methods we needed. Thus we switched to Pycord since its a fork of Discord.py and had better support for voice recording. bot will connect and start recording voice from the channel that it has been called with $record command. in order to stop the recording $stop_recording command needs to be typed. Unfortunately we couldn't managed to make this voice data passed into the open ai api one of the reasons was the platform we were hosting the bot (replit) didn't have much support for voice recording using a discord bots. If we had more time Bot should be able to pass the voice data into whisper and transform it into text data. Later text gets passed into chatGBT for translation. After the translation output gets send to the channel that the $record command got excited. Although we will continue developing this bot, it is currently not fully working.

The recipe sub-window also illustrates the meal by providing a photo. Sorting is a feature that can be used to sort the meals based on their nutritional facts. The main advantage of this website is that it groups everything that the user might need to plan a healthy diet, considering their allergies and any food preferences they might have for the week. We used GPT-3 to create a Dating/Fighting simulation video game, giving AI a twist on it's implementation and creating a simulation of human interactions and emotions as a topic of study. Furthermore, we implemented a Finite State Automata controlled by an AI for the basis of our combat system instead of an already determined set of actions, bringing an element of randomness rarely seen in games. The characters use ChatGPT-3 to generate coherent responses and create inmersive scenarios. Using Emotion Analysis we plan to tie physical responses to the conversations in the future We hope to implement Whisper in the future to give a real voice to the conversations generated. Through this, we hope to determine whether AI can naturally integrate into flows of conversation indistiguishable from real interactions Current video games are using AI but not for the combat mechanics which is one of the more important and fun aspects on a video game We created a Finite State Automata that handles all our combat states but rather than being controlled by default AI, it is controlled by a more custom AI so every fight feels different and unique.

Our app goes beyond text and offers users the ability to have video conversations with animated AI avatars. During the hackathon, we created a pipeline that generates video responses based on a single image and integrated Redis to provide factual answers. The app is already used in schools and we are in discussions with partnering with one of the largest textbook publishers who want to integrate our tech into their digital textbooks. The current prototype generates single video responses, and in the next iterations, we will make the response generation much faster and enable live video conversations with the avatars.
