Can Mentors and Organizers Participate in Events, and How Are They Judged?
We encourage everyone to participate including our team members as it is a great way to get a better understanding of the process, industry, and community; however, we do have a policy in place whereby teams with our own members of staff will be excluded from the judging & award process.
Of course, if a member of staff builds the next big thing, we may even invite them to next steps but then of course they then will no longer be a lablab member of staff if they chose this path. This is all done as we are passionate about what we do as a business and always encourage our staff to express that passion for the industry.
